3rd post! ELL reminders!

as ur ELL rep i shall be nice and remind everyone abt their homework!

ELL

1. get started on your Singlish Holiday Project! (i strongly recommend recording at any s70 CT outing)

2. Semantics Assignment. the find advertisements (2 persuasive, 2 not-so-persuasive ones and analyse connotations in the adverts)

3. mug for your first test in Term 2 Week 3!
does anyone know whether "all topics covered until now" includes syntax?

4. if the answer to the above qns is yes, then MUG YOUR SYNTAX NOTES UNTIL YOU UNDERSTAND IT!

and people just a reminder but please do not post any gay photos or comments or content i know we are a very exceptionally HAPPY class but we can all express that happiness AFTER APRIL ok! and dont SPAM tagboard with rubbish *AHEM* like impersonating ppl *AHEM*

The dictionary mostly defines the word 'gay' as an adjective, meaning merry, keenly exuberant or inciting high spirits. This word is very functional as it may be used in another special way, which will probably not be covered here because it is slightly risque and not necessarily contributive towards our cause. However, S70 is the epitome of gay. We are the trendsetters that bring gay, ghey, sunshine, ghey and even more gay(!) to your doorstep! Or perhaps, some might want to call it The Mighty Internet Browser. To each his own.

Remember, Gay is our middle name. Our collective middle names. Our class, in all aspects, is definitely gayer than yours. So there.
